Completion of the combustion system revamp of the reheating furnace in SSAB, Tunnplat AB with the capacity 300 t/h

We are glad to inform that ICS as a main Contractor has already finished next project in SSAB Tunnplat AB, Borlänge, Sweden - worldwide known producer of high strength steel.

The project covered preparation of technical documentation and erection works in the following areas:

    • nozzle Cooling Air System (NCA) in Zone 1 and Zone 2, furnace 301,
    • revamp of Double Fuel Nozzle System (DFNS) into Single Fuel Nozzle System (SFNS) in zone 2 including burner installations,
    • main fuel collector revamp in zone 2,
    • modernization of the refractory lining of the burners equipped with mode F1 and F2 (low temperature and high temperature mode) in zone 2.

The commissioning of the system was performed successfully in turn of July and August 2010.
