Signing the contract for the analysis of boiler OP-650 adjustment possibility to be fired by 100% biomass fuel

We are glad to inform that ICS signed the contract for the performance the analysis of the boiler OP-650 no. 2 adjustment possibility to be fired by 100% of the biomass fuel.

The main Contractor of the project is Consortium Remak-Rozruch S.A. and IndComb A.B company.

ICS will be responsible for the following tasks in this project:

• boiler efficiency tests during the combustion of the coal powder,
• measurements and numerical calculations (CFD) of the air flows in piping delivering the air to the combustion chamber,
• volume fractions measurements of the oxygen and carbon monoxide inside the combustion chamber.

Obtained results will be used as an input data for performance CFD numerical analysis of the combustion processes in the combustion chamber of the boiler OP-650 fired by coal and biomass powder.
