The end of 72-hour test run of Ecotube installation for reduction of nitrogen oxides (NO_X) in the grate boiler no. K1 in Megatem Power Plant in Lublin

We are pleased to announce that on 14.09.2015 with a positive result it was completed 72-hour test run of nitrogen oxides reduction Ecotube System that was installed by ICS at a stoker boiler type OR50 no. K1 in Megatem EC Lublin Sp. o.o. to reduce emissions of nitrogen oxides (NO_x).

During the trial the very good results of NO_X reduction were achieved reaching an average NO_X emissions equal to 169 mg/Nm³ at 6% of O2 and normal conditions. Technology of Ecotube System, which combines the use of primary and secondary methods of NOX reduction allowed to achieve an average reduction of nitrogen oxides (NO_X) from the baseline emissions equal to 63%. After the finishing the trial the installation was taken over by the Investor. The installation was erected by ICS Sp o.o. in a form of turn-key delivery in cooperation with Controltec and EnergoKoncept companies.
